So, a policeman stops you & demands to search you based on no evidence whatsoever. You get out your mobile phone to video the policeman to ensure he does not abuse his authority or abuse you. Instantly you have now committed an offence! Even though you were innocent in the first place the policeman now can enforce this law, you are arrested & put in a cell, awaiting your sentence for a terrorist offence!

Great the Labour Party innit?

I remember tbeing so happy back in '97 too, how wrong we were....

And why do CWU still insist on supporting Labour...needs to stop..

What have Veitnamese Pot Belly Pigs got to do with videoing the Police? :confused

As, in my experience, Royal Mail's methods of investigation are flawed, it will simply mean that they come to the wrong conclusion quicker! It will also save managers backing each other up in their lies, therefore less chance of tripping thenselves up.

Royal Mail must be rubbing their hands with glee.
They won't want to stick to the three stages system; they will be delighted with this new procedure!
It may save too many managers getting involved through the stages, but it means less chance of your case being considered properly.
This government, Labour in name only, seems hell-bent as a certain Tory dragon, to destroy employee rights.
Always be one step ahead, play their game but be wiser. Revenge is sweet.

correct ! - they've wanted RMAP fast tracked for a long time , with some professional skivvers and excessive political correctness , it takes 2 years for RM to get rid of them , BUT the wrong people will be hounded out as it's basically the ACAS agreement being torn up .

Usually as Teebs says , RM botch all the way through , and all the holes / conflictions , contradictions , more questions than answers etc can be contradicted and challenged , all RM can do now is slow time appeals to ground people down to stop staff making trouble for them at Industrial Tribunals .

New Labour with CBI pressure are trying to appear as business friendly as possible to try and keep the Tory majority down in the 2010 General Election . The best thing you can say is that you'll get Thatcherism Lite with Dave Snooty and his pals .

As an employer you currently face financial penalties and claims of automatic unfair dismissal if your disciplinary procedure and dismissal procedures do not comply with the Statutory Dispute Procedures.

However, the Statutory Dispute Procedures are being repealed on April 6, 2009. From this date you should follow the new Acas Code of Practice.
