I don't agree with striking hence did not join union after a while that became a secondary issue as i felt was being put upon and having to fight case for every little issue alone. Now in union, still don't agree on striking but life is so much easier as our rep is always willing to taking on our DOM on our behalf. Ifv we all stand together and do the job properly life will be so much better for us all (well maybe not Rm buts that there prob)..
tiredwalker would you cross a picket line
Now I'm in union not a chance I'd cross a picket line, whether agreeing or not if we don't stand together what's the point!
Good to hear :Applause i myself would never cross anyones picket line apart from RM Managers :left: :left: :left: as they crossed mine!

I'd find it very difficult to cross ANY picket line (even a managers one) but then I don't reckon the managers would ever go on strike.

I would not walk across a managers picket line, I would try to get a marching band, banner and the whole office march across it in unison. They lost any chance of me backing them up if they go on strike with their constant attacks on our T&Cs and dogmatic approach to IR. Yes we need change but its a lot less painful if you include us in discussions rather than dictate from on high.

No chance our managers would go on strike anyway, they'd have no were to plug the kettle in..... :hmmmm
