Re: bonus
Thats what worries me, I read all sorts of horror stories on RMC that my D.O hasnt experienced yet, which leads me to wonder if there is a wall of shite out there working its way to my delivery office.

Agree strongly that the Xmas bonus should be much more than it is currently.Big Daz wrote:Longstanding CWU policy is for CS money to be redeployed into basic pay.
Its about time xmas bonus was bumped up to £250.
CWU policy as regards ColleagueShare money ain't ever gonna happen, I'm afraid. Look how many years we've had a CWU policy for a shorter working week. The only people who've made progress on that are RM, by cutting FT jobs and bringing in more and more PT ones
RM will not take the money earmarked for CS and fund a pay increase with it, simply because if they did, it would be an ongoing expense every year once it was part of basic pay. The dodgy gits are more likely to turn round to the CWU and say
'OK, we'll give you that CS money instead of an increase in basic pay, cause the recession and competition are reducing group profits

I draw the line at joking about his plane crashing. What about the rest of the passengers and crew ?
However if he went on one of his runs and got eaten by a grizzly bear, that would be different.

Just spilt stain-remover down my shirt. Now how do I get that out?
