RM spokesman stated that the speed is only 2.1mph (3.37kph) so we should hold them to that.

I don't fancy them roller boot thingys can i have a set of striders instead, like in that tv commercial for Zurich insurance. I'm sure Royal Mail will be fine with us trialling them as we'll be able to do 2 runs in the time it takes to do one now. I don't see any health and safety issues at all. Well lets face it there seem to be no health and safety issues regarding being out an extra hour or carrying more bags to cover the extra doors we'll be expected to do. They might need to put extra padding and weight on the PDAs as we'll be higher off the ground and we don't want them to break if we drop them. Then again I'll need the drivers seat removed from my van so I can save time by not removing the striders to drive, in fact why don't royal mail just get Romec to design RoboPost, I'm sure we don't mind having our arms and legs cut off and replaced with bionic items. Lets face it we might be better with bionic legs etc as when dogs attack we won't even notice.

I know I'm past it but I've always fancied a go with those striders - don't know why but they fascinated me when they first came out, so much so I looked into buying some - until I saw the price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ah well just something else too expensive and for which I'm past it.ar26 wrote:I don't fancy them roller boot thingys can i have a set of striders instead, like in that tv commercial for Zurich insurance.
