Hello there,
I bought an item off e-bay and it was dispatched on Thursday via Royal Mail First Class, will my item arrive before Christmas? Because I thought that First class only takes a day to deliver, therefore meaning it should of been delivered on Friday or atleast Saturday.
Thanks

the fact that you think first class only takes a day is impressive.Cookie175 wrote:Hello there,

With first class THE AIM is next day, the only thing guaranteed next day are special deliveries.
first class is within 3 working days, saturday isn't classed as a working day and quality goes out the window in the run up to christmas so the aforementioned doesn't apply, with the exception of special deliveries.
Confused... You won't be, after the next episode of. SOAP

Christmas Delivery
Saturday was the last day for 1st class items to be posted and to be received by Christmas so still 2 days to go. As a footnote today we received more packets and parcels than at any other time this Christmas - we will have them all delivered on or before Boxing day but it is going to take a lot of effort.Cookie175 wrote:Hello there,
