That's not how the planning will work. The pods will contain duties that border each other with the focus being to keep travelling distances as short as possiblegoneaway wrote: ↑Yesterday, 17:32DM26 hasn't started at our office and is still in the planning stages and there is no official word on which four duties will be in each pod. But there's a rumour that two of the existing van share jobs will be paired with another two van share jobs about two miles apart! It's not a rural area and will involve travel across other pods' areas! Utter madness, especially when there are 1pm Specials in both areas! Are any other offices who are up and running working illogical geographical spreads like this (barring isolated rural areas)?

Being a reserve doesn't mean you are on a different job each day.... they can put you on an awful job for months.

If it's all in one town then a van might get sent out to do the specials for the entire area covered by the DO.goneaway wrote: ↑Yesterday, 17:32DM26 hasn't started at our office and is still in the planning stages and there is no official word on which four duties will be in each pod.
