The Union and Royal Mail could exit talks with an incredibly positive outcome and people would still moan about it.

Doubtful.
Royal Mail's trump card in all this will be "if we don't make changes there will be forced redundancies".
The government don't want that, the union don't want that.

The area reps are running around telling those who'll listen that the talks are positive. Members can only guess the latest cruelty the CWU are signing up to in their secret meeting.

Yeah it seems that could be a possibility but our office and I know that two of the neighbouring offices are similar in that if they introduced something that required 25% less staff we might just about have the right amount so presumably no-one would be forced to leave, I assume that's widespread although there must be fully staffed offices somewhere.
