Where does this come from? Is there any way to read RM's full submission to the DRP?

I think most people can see that RM don't want a resolution, they are just going through the motions of saying we tried to resolve it.
RM's way saves hundreds of millions, in their view. CWU version saves tens of millions, maybe. That's the bottom line.

All these trials are just tinkering around the edges for what will eventually happen - USO will go and addresses will get a letter delivery every second day

Every second day is better than the proposed ODM which, on one of the two week rotas is only once every third day?

Surely it'll be every other weekday like they wanted not including Saturday so still 3 days mail on Monday and Tuesday on the alternating duties of the pairings, maybe not, as you say if so at least that's slightly better.

The 132 postcodes on yesterday's s**t list and countless staff and media stories suggest that he has in fact already walked away from 6 day a week mail.

Although the “heavy-light” model is slightly better RM are looking at pure profit rather than quality, ODM will commence in 2-4wks.
Quality will further drop, the turnover of staff will increase.
Ofcom will fine RM again this year, 40-50 million.
But from a business sense that’s still ok as they are currently saving 80-120 million.
Might be some a Government committee which serves as a reminder to public they are doing something about it, will serve no purpose, it’s a private company now.
Once Ofcom fines reach 70-100 million RM might consider changing a few things, until then delivery are screwed!!

Any offices with surplus, non drivers will be first out of the door.......er how many offices actually have a surplus of staff??!! We're 17 staff down and when we do get new starters they're literally useless. Any new starters that can actually do the job f**k off after 6 months!

EP Group literally couldn't give a s**t about quality of service or us staff. Basically it just seems to me that they're continuing what Simon Thompson started. All the nice words when they bought R.M were just that, to keep the Government on side. They're not serious about any of it because if they where they wouldn't have people like Ricky Macaulay and Co still in positions of responsibility. They'd have paid them off and shown them the door as soon as they bought Royal Mail.
