Help with package sent to Colombia please

Post by ecuawinbet »

Good afternoon, I'm concerned about shipment RH421604691GB It hasn't updated since December 24, 2025. I've previously received products from Great Britain to Colombia and they never took more than 15-18 days. This package has been over 40 days and there's still no update on its location. I have no recourse and I'm worried it might be lost.

Any lithium batteries in the package? If there are, how are they packaged within the package? They can be a common reason for problems/delays.

It absolutely does not contain batteries, nor is it made of fragile materials or glass; it's simply a set of electronic circuit boards. Last year, I used other shipping companies and the product arrived in Colombia within 16 days. With Royal Mail, it's been 40 days and there's been no response or update since December 24th. I'm truly disappointed and consider the merchandise lost.

Going by the tracking it's left the UK, and is no longer in RM's hands.

Since December 24th 2025, it says it's left the UK and in transit, but did it leave by sea? The other shipping services I used before gave me exact updates on the product's location. Everything's wrong.

I asked my AI to trawl the Royal Mail sites about columbia and it said
Royal Mail has been reporting general international delays since late December, and Colombia is one of the destinations where delays are currently expected.
The official guidance says international mail is moving, but slower than normal due to airline capacity, customs backlogs, and seasonal congestion.
So most likely it's stuck in customs, but there is nothing Royal Mail can do about it; your own postal service has to wait for it to be released.

Also, a clarification, we are not an official Royal Mail site so we do not give official information. We are a site mainly organised to keep Royal Mail postworkers in contact with each other.
