Second class signed for parcel not delivered after 2 weeks

Post by madnortherner12345 »

Ayup, had a second class signed for parcel containing a tweed blazer sent on the 17th December second class signed for from west to south Yorkshire, hasn't been delivered and it's now the 2nd of January. Funnily enough I had two other second class items dispatched after the 17th and delivered a few days later from the other side of the country, so I'm confused as to why this one has seemingly disappeared even though it was the one closest to me  .

Is it normal for second class to take more than two weeks at this time of year or should I give up and consider it lost? it wont be a small parcel so don't know how it could get lost, unless the label fell off or something. I didn't choose for it to be sent second class the seller chose that themselves so not very happy with them. Is it likely that it's just in a York somewhere and tracked parcels are still being given priority?.

Thanks

No I wouldn't have thought so.

Everything posted pre-Christmas should have been delivered by now.

I have a feeling the seller may have underpaid on the postage seeing as it looks like they used eBay to print off the label, you think it's quite possible that it would cost more than £5.15 to send a jacket 2nd class if it's a bit heavier? could explain why it hasn't turned up though i haven't received any card to pay a fee either.

As it is something you bought online, it is up to the seller to chase this and refund you if necessary.
