That would be one item every 1 minute 20 seconds. How do you even drive to the next DP that quickly even if you disregard writing a P739 or bothering to ascertain if someone is in? That kind of callrate frequency could only be legitimately achieved on-foot with a bag rammed with small packets.norris9 wrote: ↑17 Oct 2025, 16:36Is that what they've changed the performance level to now - 50 per hour?? - so they obviously want us to doorstep based on that target.
The degredation of RM's reputation and QoS is being driven by the very thing we're told we have to get and keep to preserve them.
We had to destroy the village in order to save it.Martin Walsh wrote: ↑17 Jun 2014, 12:52Now some may not like this but we are in a different competitive world where the big supply companies like Amazon , ASOS and many more demand more. First time delivery arrangements or you don't get their business.
The machine stops.

Re: And so it begins?
If customers want blades items delivered to them there's not a lot we can do about it? As already mentioning the irritating one is "signed for" even when you can leave it in an enclosed porch with a photo. I feel RM should increase the charges so that nobody uses the service unless it's a £100+ item.kazardaimenu wrote: ↑17 Oct 2025, 06:50Had 2 Age verified items booked for redelivery the other day. No one in! This sort of crap is a massive waste of time.

I've noticed a lot of the AV items are temu crap, when you turn up and start asking year of birth etc they say oh it's only a spatular or a set of knitting needles that cost me a couple quidTopperGas wrote: ↑17 Oct 2025, 18:49If customers want blades items delivered to them there's not a lot we can do about it? ted_e_bear wrote: ↑18 Oct 2025, 16:48I'm on 21k and that's doing one walk between us and the parcels first class on the other. Both walks with 1 day of mail are 23k to 25k depending on volumes. 50 parcels an hour is maybe possible if you are delivering close and door stepping every one. It's not good service but it seems RM are still racing to the bottom.funkflex55 wrote: ↑18 Oct 2025, 16:45Didn't that idiot also say that posties are currently doing about 12k steps a day? Let Me tell You a story. It’s the early 1950s . My mother is working as a children’s nurse in Brighton . A little boy is bought in by ambulance. He and His brother found a couple of knitting needles in their mums sowing box. They have a sword fight and his needle went straight into His brothers eye.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑18 Oct 2025, 06:30I've noticed a lot of the AV items are temu crap, when you turn up and start asking year of birth etc they say oh it's only a spatular or a set of knitting needles that cost me a couple quidTopperGas wrote: ↑17 Oct 2025, 18:49If customers want blades items delivered to them there's not a lot we can do about it? As it was the 1950s, it wasn't being chased by people with briefcases.

Just do the job the way it should be done you are taking shortcuts and this does not help other people who do the job properly, never presume people aren’t in and try again and fill out card properly. This is the problem with people they take too many shortcuts and guys who do job properly get penalized
