Is that what they've changed the performance level to now - 50 per hour?? - so they obviously want us to doorstep based on that target.

That would be one item every 1 minute 20 seconds. How do you even drive to the next DP that quickly even if you disregard writing a P739 or bothering to ascertain if someone is in? That kind of callrate frequency could only be legitimately achieved on-foot with a bag rammed with small packets.

The degredation of RM's reputation and QoS is being driven by the very thing we're told we have to get and keep to preserve them.

Now some may not like this but we are in a different competitive world where the big supply companies like Amazon , ASOS and many more demand more. First time delivery arrangements or you don't get their business.

Faffing about with signature items doesn`t help, especially taking it back the next day, when you know that person is at work all week. Most of it is tat that surely doesn`t warrant a signature?

Had 2 Age verified items booked for redelivery the other day. No one in! This sort of crap is a massive waste of time.

If customers want blades items delivered to them there's not a lot we can do about it? As already mentioning the irritating one is "signed for" even when you can leave it in an enclosed porch with a photo. I feel RM should increase the charges so that nobody uses the service unless it's a £100+ item.

I'm on 21k and that's doing one walk between us and the parcels first class on the other. Both walks with 1 day of mail are 23k to 25k depending on volumes. 50 parcels an hour is maybe possible if you are delivering close and door stepping every one. It's not good service but it seems RM are still racing to the bottom.

Let Me tell You a story. It’s the early 1950s . My mother is working as a children’s nurse in Brighton . A little boy is bought in by ambulance. He and His brother found a couple of knitting needles in their mums sowing box. They have a sword fight and his needle went straight into His brothers eye.

If the sender wants a signature it's entirely up to them.

If I know they're not likely to be in I don't go back next day. Only a couple of addresses.

Just do the job the way it should be done you are taking shortcuts and this does not help other people who do the job properly, never presume people aren’t in and try again and fill out card properly. This is the problem with people they take too many shortcuts and guys who do job properly get penalized
