What did you do after your lunch break as 100 Tracked packets/over sized is around 2 - 2½ hours work?

Probably the other 100 parcels as obviously both would need to be working from the van

Yesterday (Wednesday) we had around 170 tracked between us, and we cut-off (letters only) about a third of a walk. It’s only going to get worse over the next few months. Expecting us to do all these parcels, letters, D2Ds, and customer collections is unsustainable.

Faffing about with signature items doesn`t help, especially taking it back the next day, when you know that person is at work all week. Most of it is tat that surely doesn`t warrant a signature?

If the sender wants a signature it's entirely up to them.

If I know they're not likely to be in I don't go back next day. Only a couple of addresses.

I assume you leave a fully filled out P739 on all your failed deliverys ?

You are not the one to decide if it goes out the following day for a second attempt. :no no
It goes out unless there are instructions to deliver on set day after 2nd day attempt.

Had 2 Age verified items booked for redelivery the other day. No one in! This sort of crap is a massive waste of time.

Had 140 large parcels last Saturday on a DPR and the manager was demanding I get back and clear LATs as well. No chance! Only just got done on time.

Is that what they've changed the performance level to now - 50 per hour?? - so they obviously want us to doorstep based on that target.
