Hi
I'm really hoping I can get some advice about finding a parcel. It is a small book which my late mother wrote family births, deaths and occasions in and it is irreplaceable. Although I've submitted a claim i don't want any compensation, I just want the book back and to show it to my father who is now in a residential home, which is where the book was headed. My tracking information said that it was last scanned in the Swansea Mail Centre, but I wrote to the manager there and he very helpfully responded but said he could see it was last scanned at the Jubilee MC. I would happily give a £100 reward to anyone who can help find it. Any advice would be very welcome, and I can happily share tracking details etc. Many thanks in advance. Alice

Hi Alice,
we're not an official Royal Mail forum, just a group of postal workers who can offer opinion as to what might have happened/might be happening to your item.
If you wish to post the tracking number that might help. Don't post the address/names or any personal info.

Thank you for your reply - yes any advice or guidance would be much appreciated. The tracking number is TQ969795512GB.
I'm just dreading that I've lost it for good.
Many thanks again, Alice

Re: Help with lost parcel reward offered!
According to the tracking Alice, the item was in Swansea MC at 19:20 last night and again at 8:44 this morning, because someone has scanned the item there.
I can't see that the item was sent to Jubilee previously ?
As you chose a tracked 48 service, then the tracking information points towards the item being ready for delivery tomorrow (Wed).
I would keep checking this tracking reference tonight and through the night to see if thereis any further scans of the parcel.

The tracking is dated July, I think the item is lost unfortunately.BenacreNick wrote: ↑19 Aug 2025, 16:54According to the tracking Alice, the item was in Swansea MC at 19:20 last night and again at 8:44 this morning, because someone has scanned the item there.

Thank you for looking - is there department I can get in touch with at Jubilee? I imagine a room full of parcels with damaged labels or the wrapping came off. What happens to those items?
Thanks again,
Alice

They get sent to the National Returns Centre in Belfast. Who try to match them up with the descriptions provided in lost parcel forms.Alicetilda wrote: ↑20 Aug 2025, 19:49Thank you for looking - is there department I can get in touch with at Jubilee? Thank you for getting back to me. I submitted a claim, but don't remember having to fill in anything about the contents...
