1 person, 1 route, 1 frame per person - side A and B, just like that Australian model. Rotate each day.
It's been working like that for years in DO's all over the country, with agency/temp staff in over Christmas.
Late stage Capitalism is in full effect at RM and you have to wonder when something like this will tip over into a modern French revolution situation.

Re: Alternative to the ODM
Care to remind us what caused the Tunisian government to fall in 2011? It's not so much the final straw that breaks the camel's back but the cumulative effect of the ones laden before.
The machine stops.

Re: Alternative to the ODM
Apparently RM putting out an emergency brief tomorrow assuring us that the USO plans are going ahead as planned and that the pilot sites are all working well. Also the CWU should not be discussing content of closed confidential negotiations.
Think this could get very messy...

Also talk of OFCOM asking RM why they haven't implemented the changes they insisted they desperately needed

Re: Alternative to the ODM
I have no idea if what your saying is true but I just KNEW Martin Walsh jumped the gun a couple of weeks ago on that video when he proclaimed that the ODM was dead and that a dream like alternative where everyone stays on their own duty with no fatigue and every other Saturday off could be in the offing. The silence following that statement is also ringing alarm bells.jessicarabbit wrote: ↑12 Aug 2025, 19:45Apparently RM putting out an emergency brief tomorrow assuring us that the USO plans are going ahead as planned and that the pilot sites are all working well. I sure hope that wasnt just a ploy to convince people sitting on the fence to vote YES to the pay dealtoonshola wrote: ↑12 Aug 2025, 20:27I have no idea if what your saying is true but I just KNEW Martin Walsh jumped the gun a couple of weeks ago on that video when he proclaimed that the ODM was dead and that a dream like alternative where everyone stays on their own duty with no fatigue and every other Saturday off could be in the offing. Re: Alternative to the ODM
Surely the CWU wouldn't have made such a statement without the consent of RM. Managers have taken down the propaganda stuff, our own DOM has told us it's not happening. If what Jessica is saying is true then we would have known besides it all has to go to a vote anyway.toonshola wrote: ↑12 Aug 2025, 20:27I have no idea if what your saying is true but I just KNEW Martin Walsh jumped the gun a couple of weeks ago on that video when he proclaimed that the ODM was dead and that a dream like alternative where everyone stays on their own duty with no fatigue and every other Saturday off could be in the offing. There is definitely change we all know that but the model that was trialled then I don't believe that will happen

But they can’t put a statement out say the trials are going well because they aren’t.jessicarabbit wrote: ↑12 Aug 2025, 19:45Apparently RM putting out an emergency brief tomorrow assuring us that the USO plans are going ahead as planned and that the pilot sites are all working well. The could say the uso changes are still happening because they are but the rest is nonsense.
Who’s told you this?
