HWDC phone number (Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre)

Hi,

I am new to this site and I hope someone out there can help me in an emergency situation.

I have just discovered last night that I have been scammed via an order through Amazon UK, and I have shipped some valuable goods to this "buyer" with Royal Mail International Sign For.

I have tried everything I could think of last night to try and contact Royal Mail but with no avail at the weekend.

I tracked my parcels and it said on their website:

"your Parcel, posted on 26/10 with reference RJxxxxxxxxxGB has been received at our international mail centre and is being made ready for dispatch overseas"

I desperately need to contact HWDC (Heathrow) to stop this parcel from shipping abroad.

Would anyone have an emergency phone number please? Or give me any advise on what I can do? Should I contact customs or the police, would they do anything?

I am very desperate and upset right now.

HWDC will not be able to do anything.

Always wait on payment to clear before posting.

Once mail is in the system it can't be taken out - sorry but that's the law, only way to get it out is a court order (which you won't get). Learn from this and don't get scammed next time.

A few things,was that really HWDC's number,is it in the public domain?
We get soooooo many queries regarding them,if it's a number that is not advertised then putting it out could cause mayhem.

Sorry mate but even if you did get a contact number it wouldn't help.

For one they are not a customer facing section so they are not set up to do searches or answer queries. Also even if they were, its an almost impossible task for them to confirm loss or non scanning, they get literally thousands per shift and it would be nigh on impossible for them to be able to confirm anything that isn't scanned.

My brother has posted an A4 size envelope with my certificates in to me in UK from Ghana. The unfortunate thing is he has made a mistake with my address. my door number reads 21A but he mistook the letter A as number 4 hence made it 214. On my road there is no house with number 214 as the last house on the road is numbered 172. I have tracked my item with ref RR005269899GH and is at the HWDC. Can you please help me have the door number corrected so I can receive it when attempt is made to deliver?

Sorry but as an unofficial site there is no way we can help. My best advice is to call customer services and explain the situation.

However, it is possible that if your postie recognises your name he may realise what the address should be and then deliver it as normal, in fact if you can have a quick chat with him tomorrow and he may help out.

However without official direction we are not meant to do this so it may be returned to sender, in fact this may be happening already.

I have a parcel that has been sitting at heathrow distribution centre since 5 June from Malta. I have calle hmrc and Royal Mail customer facing numbers. No one can help me. Royal Mail customer centre person gave me distribution number to contact no one picks up the phone. I new the package by this Tuesday since I travelling and nee the good that are being delivered in it.
