Wpc £44 a week ! Not there fault but doing nothing for months incl payment on hols is an incredible waste of money. Imagine that throughout the uk . We cant get a decent payrise but give out money for nothing ,,,

Yeah the company’s a joke with these handouts. Our WPC worked his butt off last week, turning the tv on and off whilst we watched boring safety videos.

If it's any consolation there's probably loads on delivery who'd willingly transfer over to it given the chance

CSS operation is on the night shift. Don't think early shift have much mech these days, late mech could well be casuals running the machines, espacially given the number of broken boxes that we get on the CSS that the iLSM crews on earlies and lates should have taken out of use.Londonsburning wrote: ↑19 May 2025, 08:30Same here and I know for a fact a lot of other posties at my DO would too.yubin282 wrote: ↑18 May 2025, 17:22Yes I would.Sean06 wrote: ↑18 May 2025, 17:12Would they be willing to work 2pm to 10pm.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑18 May 2025, 16:47No, you'll do as you're told.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑18 May 2025, 16:42If it does go I wonder if RM will end up finding a load of staff coming off the mech, and ending up with not enough staff to run the machines

Looks like your knowledge is not very good.markis wrote: ↑18 May 2025, 08:45I have it on good knowledge that the talks on the pay rise will combine the delivery supplement and above inflation percentage as a long term pay rise, what this means is that the delivery supplement of £29.35 will be merged with the pay rise ,so let’s say it’s a 7% long term pay rise, which means we will not get another pay rise for three years, it would be 7% with delivery supplement which would then be sold as a big pay rise, why ? because our hourly rate has jumped up.

Re: Delivery Supplement to be part of the pay rise
None of them have ever been suspended for coming off of the mech, we've also had people come out of our SD locker, again without ever being suspended.Sean06 wrote: ↑19 May 2025, 09:51Of course its as directed your talking nonsense.be suspened for refusing a reasonable request.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑18 May 2025, 18:46We have had people come off the mech before and refuse to go back on it, so it's not as directedSean06 wrote: ↑18 May 2025, 17:10As you well know its as directed so stop stirring it up for no reason.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑18 May 2025, 16:42If it does go I wonder if RM will end up finding a load of staff coming off the mech, and ending up with not enough staff to run the machines

Using our own money to subsidise our pay is not a pay rise. This industry is a multi-billion pound one where the bosses pay themselves millions. Stop letting the CWU accept the crumbs from the floor and start demanding what is rightfully ours - the money made by our labour.

What does that have to do with tens of thousands of Delivery OPGs wanting APC duties now and taking them on seniority? after DKs first day in charge..SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑19 May 2025, 09:28CSS operation is on the night shift. Can everyone please stop overquoting. If you respond to a post then quote only that post, on this thread we have posters quoting 7 previous posts when they are only responding to the last one. It makes threads difficult to read, and any insightful message you were maybe passing on to other members is lost in the noise.
It also something you agreed to when joining royalmailchat - https://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communi ... 33#p117733

Please quote carefully - Please don't over-use the quoting feature - most replies won't need to quote anything. Lots of unnecessary quoting results in long pages that take ages to download and read. However, do use this function if you are replying to a post several pages higher in the thread.

Re: Delivery Supplement to be part of the pay rise
Until we know what the long term pay rise is in % terms then we've no idea if this is a good move or not, I doubt any CWU member is ever going to vote to accept 7% if 6% of that is a supplement they are already recieving?markis wrote: ↑18 May 2025, 08:45I have it on good knowledge that the talks on the pay rise will combine the delivery supplement and above inflation percentage as a long term pay rise, what this means is that the delivery supplement of £29.35 will be merged with the pay rise ,so let’s say it’s a 7% long term pay rise, which means we will not get another pay rise for three years, it would be 7% with delivery supplement which would then be sold as a big pay rise, why ? because our hourly rate has jumped up.
