Some take a batch out with them on delivery, without prepping them into the frame. For me that’s too much faffing about, can you imagine trying to do this with 2 or more d2d’s. I had 7 last week!!
We still have the 'no nesting' signs on our frames. Just more do as I say nonsense from the LMs. Not sure how people are possibly delivering d2d daily whilst completing more than a quarter of a walk within the timeframe.

Without carrying a bag on your shoulder how the hell do you juggle carrying it? No room in a LWT trolley or HCT

We’ve never prepped D2Ds in the frames (only the lapsing one)
It’s a stupid idea and waste of time
Who thought of this - someone who’s never prepped before :arrrghhh
As the previous post said, what is your method for delivering multiple D2D?

Also I guess you are cold calling which we are told not to do
I know in our office for walks/frames that haven't got a duty holder (or even some that do!), some households get two deliveries of a particular D2D one week and the other household of the double slot doesn't get any. Pure guess work!

We are cutting off as it is as we don't have enough time to deliver the day A / day B nonsense!

Why would you nest your D2D to save time, when you are told not to?

Does it not make more sense to do as instructed, then cut off??

Have you ever tried to deliver 7 sets of households un-nested on a 1200 call walk with a double slotted frame? :left: You would be better off just quitting lol

As I said, I have a over 700 call double slotted frame. I prep the D2D's as instructed, you are correct it takes for ever which leads me to cutting off on my time.

I can't get my head around why you would willingly do something you are told not to because it is quicker, instead of just cutting off? :arrrghhh

Probably because it makes my quality of life worse in the long run. At the end of the day every single frame at my DO is now double slotted and some of us had 6 households this week. They got nested no question. Almost everyone still cut off.

Have you been 'not nesting' yours for the last 6 or 7 years every week now?

We have never nested d2d's always prepped in our frames, which were mostly single slots up until the last revision. Now being a pilot office the remaining single slots have gone.

I'm still unsure why that would affect your quality of life?

Are you not having to 'cold call' a lot houses that have no mail just to post your 'nested' d2d's?

Any other pilot office observations, like prepping all d2d on a Monday? Or are you still on a 4 hour delivery span?
