HI well its been a real mess from the Post office, firstly documents sent special delivery to HMPO were given wrong post code (sorted though finally)
and then 2 days ago was sent a message saying Passport is on its way to my home address.
All good until yesterday morning when I got a message "Sorry, your item xxxxxxxX from HM Passport Office needed to be re-routed. "
on checking tracking it ended up in Sheffield - im in York. Called the Post Office passport line they said it was put on the wrong van - even though I had paid for tracked deliver next day to HMPO.
Tonight in checking the tracking I see this :
Thursday 13 March 2025
21:01
Item Received
Sheffield MC
05:31
Item Received
Sheffield MC
04:01
Item Received
Sheffield MC
Wednesday 12 March 2025
10:40
Item Received
Manchester MC
09:29
Sender has despatched item
So it is still stuck in Sheffield. I am worried as I really need the passport ... all post codes address and so on I know are 100 percent correct. But surley it should have left Sheff now if it was on the way to my address in York ? any ideas on this would be appreciated.
many thanks D.
