Package stuck at Gatwick MC

Hello,

I essentially had a parcel picked up to be shipped to a UK address, on Monday the 20th of November, using Tracked 24.

The item apparently reached Gatwick MC on the 21st, and I received the notification that it was going to be delivered on the morning of the 22nd.

It wasn't, and the tracking has not updated since the 22nd. I tried to speak to Royal Mail Support on Twitter, but their response is that it's probably lost.

The tracking number is MZ133738763GB - based on that, do you think that there's a chance that it will still show up, or should I open a claim and resend the item? :/

22 November is quite a delay for tracked so yes I would enter a claim, it might be that the claim actually releases the item sometimes that happens.

I am having the same issue except it’s only been there (Gatwick MC) for a day. It was at Croydon MC then went to Gatwick MC which makes no sense because Croydon is way closer to me.

I have had the same experience with previous orders going missing at Gatwick MC so I am not taking a chance on this one I am acting on it fast haha. You guys have been accused of theft and sitting on orders for weeks in the reviews… it’s not a good look. Please don’t steal my books

it’s for my online course and my grades depend on it :’(( do the right thing pleaseeeee.

This is a forum for Royal Mail staff. You have simultaneously asked them for help while accusing them of theft. You need to think about who you are talking to and how you ask for help.

This forum cannot help you get an item delivered on time. It is an unofficial forum. It is a tiny percentage of RM staff who read the posts on here.

As it happens, your parcel has been tracked at Brockley Delivery Office this morning, marked as out for delivery today.

Chris, a new update at 3pm today, its moved on from Gatwick but it doesn't really say where it is now ?
Unless it's now in Ireland and RM can't track it any further ?

Hi I sent a package on 27 May and tracking info confirmed it arrived at Gatwick MC at 6.28am on 28 May. It seems to be stuck there. Wondering if anyone could help me move package on to recipient. Track no is 02156628019C977E Many thanks

Hi there. Did this resolve?I am having the same issue. My sister’s package has been stuck at Gatwick MC since 4th of June. She has made several calls and has dropped a delivery address which is her current location.

Kindly please send to the delivery address dropped as she’s in dire need if it. This is so sad for her.

Hello. Thank you for your response. Yes, it was because it was sent to the post office close to my sister’s house. She has however reached out to them to send it to the exact address she’s currently at and there’s been no redelivery attempt to the new address up until now. It so sad.

@TrueBlueTerrier Thank you so much for your prompt response and concern. It’s highly appreciated. I wanted to add that the rep she spoke with said the package was at the National Returns center and I’m not sure if he’s referring to Gatwick and that he left a note for the package to be delivered to the exact address she’s currently at but no attempt of redelivery has been made since then. I’m hopeful because it’s been a long three weeks.
