I ordered an item from China and they didn't include my full address so the parcel is being returned. I checked tracking and it states it was returned from the Swansea depot on Sept 4th and on Sept the 9th was at the Cardiff depot.
I've tried contacting using the 03457 740 740 number but it consistently cuts off as I input my tracking number and have had no response on twitter.
I wanted to see if I could get the package resent to me with the correct address before it heads back to China.
Is anyone able to advise the best thing to do?
Thanks

Re: Can I intercept a parcel being returned to sender
The only way to potentially redirect it back to you, albeit a long shot, is to call the same number and navigate the options until you reach a human representative.
If the tracking number is not a UK one, wait to provide it until you reach an actual operator. They may ask you to fill out a claim form (though compensation is unlikely), which could assist the process.
However, it's important to note that this is a long shot, as the item is likely already in the returns process, and with millions of parcels in the system, tracking down a single one is challenging.

Can you post the tracking number so we can see the exact entries? I would have expected it to have passed through HWDC by now. With it having been sent to Cardiff it makes me think that the sender has a warehouse in Cardiff which the item has already been returned to.

Re: Can I intercept a parcel being returned to sender
The package is returning to the UK distributor. It’s advisable to email the sender to correct the address and resend it, though this may incur additional costs.
It seems to have gone to Cardiff, as that's the mail centre for the Swansea Delivery Office. It entered Royal Mail's system through the Princess Royal mail centre in NW London. So the distributor must be based round there somewhere.

Thankyou for your help and advice, I've contacted the sender and asked to resend the item.
