A person has sent something in the post to my mum that is a little bit weird. They have sent it as a small parcel and the BR code is BR: 569614. Please please help, this person knows where we live now - creepy !!

I came across this thread and was intrigued. It's funny how the Post Office has been in the spotlight for 1) being secretive with their information and 2) using rubbish software.
Well for all their secrecy around these branch codes, denying FOIs etc, their IT incompetence has let them down yet again because this information IS on the internet and very easily accessible.
They are exposing so-called 'locationBusinessIds' on their website and in their URLs, which seem to consist of the branch code (or whatever it's called, I'm not an expert) plus a single digit or letter at the end.
I have uploaded a list of these I found below. There are 13452 including several Fujitsu test branches!

If you cannot find yours in that list, possibly the branch was very recently opened, in which case, try this:
Go to https://www.postoffice.co.uk/all-locations
Right click > View source
Ctrl+F and search for your 6 digit branch code.
You should find the link to the branch with one additional mystery digit at the end.
