Hello,
I'm rather desperately asking if anyone can assist me with a delayed/lost parcel. I arranged for all of my family's old videotapes to be sent off to be digitised for my Dad's 75th birthday present. I'm absolutely mortified to discover that despite paying a premium for Signature 24 hour delivery the item has not been delivered.
I've contacted Royal Mail, but all they have offered me is a compensation claim, no one has got back to me and I'm getting panicked. The thought of losing these priceless memories is keeping me awake at night.
The parcel was collected on 10th July at 11:16am. Tracking Number: MV080315023GB.
My local Royal Mail sorting office told me that the parcel was stuck at a distribution hub in Northampton?
Can anyone help me to find out where my parcel is? Any assistance would be very gratefully received.

Re: Missing Priceless Parcel
You've done the right thing to contact 'official' Royal Mail and they've directed you down the official compensation route, which
unfortunately is pretty much the only thing that can be done with the number of parcels in the system (and without knowing exactly
where the parcel is) it's not practical to direct staff to look in every nook and cranny for a single parcel.
Not sure how your local office can identify that the item is 'stuck' at Northampton, I can't see that on the online tracking.
Hindsight's a wonderful thing but with the sentimental value of the item I'd have sent it Special Delivery as these items are segregated and secured from 'normal' parcels.
Hope it turns up for you.
