Click and Drop Sacks - Can We Use Other Bags/Sacks?

Post by oxfamshopf1919 »

We send a lot of items out using click and drop in the grey mailing sacks we order from Royal Mail. However, we're currently without any (we've ordered but they haven't arrived yet). Does anyone know if we can send the mail in other types of bag (large 'bags for life' for example) while we wait? The orders are piling up and we don't want to disappoint any customers.

Do you drop your mail at a post office? You should be able to get a few off them if you ask them, failing that I’ve seen mail in black bin liners!

Have a friendly word with your postie. Am sure your postie can sort you out with some of the grey sacks.

Given that its holiday time, and if my delivery confirmations are anything to go by RM is devoting itself to collecting packages and delivering parcels rather then letters and large letters I would advise the use of the most durable sacks possible as its likely your post will be sat in them for quite some time
