Peterborough mail centre
Is Peterborough mail centre being delayed? I have package sent by a friend from the UK at the end of last month, it was scanned and Peterborough mail centre and there has been no movement since. Are they suffering delays or is the package just lost?

None that I am aware, of that has been publicised. Also 12 days would be highly unusual.
I notice you mention it being sent from the UK, does that mean you are overseas, if so it could be stuck in UK or your country's customs. Without a tracking number its difficult to say anything with confidence.

Yes I'm in Ireland. The sender has tracked it and said the last scan was in Peterborough MC on the 31st, the day it was sent. I've had other deliveries come since then, I guess it's possible it's lost in that case right?TrueBlueTerrier wrote: ↑12 Jun 2024, 10:23None that I am aware, of that has been publicised. Re: Peterborough mail centre
With it going to Ireland, a possibility is that it's been refused entry by Irish Customs, they seem to be really strict with customs declarartions

Re: Peterborough mail centre
That's odd, never had that issue before. https://www.pc2paper.org/PermaLink,guid ... 0b50f.aspx I came across this, an announcement of delays the day before my item was shipped. Odd, I guess I'll just have to wait.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑12 Jun 2024, 19:53With it going to Ireland, a possibility is that it's been refused entry by Irish Customs, they seem to be really strict with customs declarartions

Re: Peterborough mail centre
Hopefully the address on the parcel is more specific than that. It needs to specify either the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland on there or that could be a source of delays in itself. For Northern Ireland, including the postcode that starts 'BT' is sufficient.
