And to discourage that they will insist any transferee migrate to the new contract , you will not win.

Common sense would suggest SD's are just made next day rather than by 1pm, the 9am's will be interesting if some offices move to a 8:30am start time!!rubberbond wrote: ↑17 Feb 2024, 13:34That’s just madness, what’s going on with this company, what about SD’s , it’s difficult enough to get to the far flung places for 13:00 as it is , without the disadvantage of being an hour later. Has anyone thought any of this through.

I was thinking of a turd sandwhich on some really fancy bread, but your analogy works better.
Be warned, a lot of colleagues up here in the Outer Mongolia of Britain (aka Scotland) are not happy at all. It's going to be a record breaking year for plummetting staff morale.
The machine stops.

Why are people acting surprised by this news? It was probably the most prominent feature of the agreement unanimously voted in. We all knew it was coming.

I thought that too, wherever you take it between start and finish time wouldn't affect the finish time.claretandblue wrote: ↑17 Feb 2024, 12:32How does moving your meal relief mean you can finish earlier?

I believe that if your start time is 8.30, you can change it to 8.15 but you have to have 15 minutes of break between the 1st and 2nd wave so there is no down time. Not a fan as who wants a break that early.

Also it has to be agreed by everyone. Staff, union and management.

Imagine your first lorry arrives at 7 with 1 hours work.
Wave 2 arrives at 8.20.
If you take a meal relief between 8 - 8.20 then your start time remains at 7 and not 7.20.
If your start time is earlier then so is your finish time.

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Seems pointless for the sake of 15 mins, we start at 7, and I usually have my break around 9.

Re: NETWORK CHANGES - LATER START AND FINISH TIMES IN DELIVERY OFFICES
Will wave 1 dispatches be moving back by the same amount as the wave 2 dispatches? Have they factored in the restrictions on driving hours for distribution drivers?
