Hi,
I recently sent two separate parcels back to Nike, using the Tracked 48 labels they provided, which was addressed to
Cycleon Returns
National Distribution Centre
NDC
XX40 2HH
The parcels were sent a couple of days apart.
When I checked the tracking, it says both parcels have been retained at the NDC Parcel Hub Delivery and that they would attempt delivery on the next working day. I've been checking the tracking today, but nothing has changed.
Has anyone else had this when returning a parcel to Nike, and any idea why the parcels would be retained?
I've attached some screen shots of the label and tracking info.

Thanks for your message enquiry RLH.
National Distribution Centre
NDC
XX40 2HH
This address and postcode is definitely not an address as such for Nike or whoever.
It's the location for the RM National Distribution Centre in Crick and as such they may have prior instructions from Nike (in this example) as to what to do with any returned parcels.
I'm just guessing here and at this stage I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Ps - someone working closer to NDC or in the network may be able to add extra information here.

Re: Nike Returns - Cycleon
Maybe the Crick industrial site is vast and Nike are also located on the same industrial site ?
As I say, it's just an educated guess for you.

Hi, thanks for replying to me,
I assume Cycleon is a logistics service for Nike and other retailers. I guess they tell Royal Mail to keep hold of parcels at the NDC and then deliver them all in bulk on certain days.
I hope they don't hold onto the parcels for too long.

Postcodes starting with XX are all online returns.
When we separate parcels all postcodes starting with XX go into a separate container. It must be a massive industrial unit where various companies deal with parcel returns.
Why its being held (rententioned) I dont know as I dont know how it works there.
