At the moment our bosses have no idea what is going on ,they haven't been told anything ,so there has been no notice period ,no one on leave have been told anything about this even the union rep has no idea,so looks like we will be carrying on with the 37 hour week and royal mail still owes us 30 hours and our deducted leave, this whole thing is a complete shambles, but from a company who have been using a s**t software system that prosecutes innocent people nothing surprises me anymore (even though we are not part of the same company anymore ,we were)this whole s**t show is another failure and complete incompetence of such a poor performing company and an inept union who has no idea what the hell they are doing, for godsake people its just posting letters and delivering parcels you doughnuts.

That's hard to believe when the rest of the company seems to know what's happening next week.

Was told yesterday, talk about leaving it late, but still none the wiser even the boss didn't understand just said its 14 mins earlier and 10 mins later, says it all really when even your lino don't get it,all he said was it had nothing to do with this years seasonal hours ,which i find very hard to believe,i have a funny feeling we will be doing an extra 50 mins December instead of 24 mins ,just wish someone could give out a sheet with it all written down on the hours they owe us and we owe them so we can keep a check ourselves and not rely on corrupted managers of royal mail.seems to me flexi time is coming and all in royal mails favour, well done cwu you have surpassed yourself again.

Full timers start 14 later and finish 10 mins earlier. Part timers come on on their usual start time and finish 10 mins earlier.
What ever happens will happen.

We have been told the new hours from Monday 14minutes later starts and 10 minutes earlier finish. But as Monday Tuesday and Saturday our hours will be 7 hours we will onlybe entitled to 30 minutes meal relief ,so basically they are stealing 10 minutes back on those days, unbelievable .

If you've got a week booked off in the next 5 weeks then presumably it'll get adjusted to use up 2 hours less.

We certainly haven’t been told that and if we did we would argue that full time employees are entitled to a 40 minute break every day and if you want to reduce it on shorter days we will want to increase it on the longer days to compensate.
