Parcel stopped at East Midlands hub for examination.

Hey guys, so I brought a rc car bundle from a guy on ebay.
It was sent from UK - UK and contains lithium battery's as well as the RC car, controller etc etc.

The tracking is showing that it has been stopped and will be examined for suspected prohibited or dangerous items.

I asked the guy if he put a battery warning sticker on the box but he said he didn't know that was a thing and the post office worker didn't ask what was inside.

How long does it normally take until I get an update on tracking?

Will they dispose of the battery's and send the rest of the parcel or will they dispose of the whole thing :confused

Any reply would be super appreciated!

In the MC the “no fly parcels” are normally given an orange sticker after they are x-rayed and sent via road or rail.

Do you know how long the process can take from examination to decision of whether they carry on the delivery or not? My tracking hasn't updated now since Tuesday the 5th when it was stopped
