Stuck at HeathRow LC!

So I ordered an item from China, it was a programming tool for my car as unfortunatly my car has broken ( but luckily i used to work in that field )
I order a tool from a company in china, it ships by SpeedPak, Very quickly too!
then the moment royal mails message said " We've got it!! "
I didn't know so many problems would lay ahead...

Let me explain my situation first haha.
So my car breaks, and its impossible to catch a bus to work as the company i work for is pretty out of the way off a motorway.
so having a car is essential.
I timed everything so i hoped was well, made an order, took 2 weeks off work <-- days after i ordered it ) allowing time.

Item still didn't arrive i start back on monday at work, this could pretty much cost me my job.
everytime I ring royal mail, wait 50 mins each time, they kinda just read back to me what the tracking information says.. then give a kinda contracdicting statement haha like this:
1:Don't worry its just a delay it will come.
2:wait till the 5th and report it missing.

Now for the tracking. 48 H tracking.
We're sorry your package was sent to Heathrow LC in error, We've rerouted it and will let you know once its in our network.

excuse my poor spelling , typing and grammar. but yeah im pretty much lost....
as lost as my package haha.
i feel like the phone service they are scripted to keep pretending its coming no matter what in the hope to keep waiting until the day comes to make a claim, then move onto the next customer, its pretty worrying. although i understand they are very very busy in the run up to christmas

This is just a guess but with the item seemingly stuck at Heathrow, it may actualy be delayed in customs or there may be an issue with the address.

Might be worth double-checking with the sender that they have the full and correct address.

If its delayed in Customs, this is to expected at this time of year just because of the volume of traffic, if there is an issue there you may receive a grey card at some point.

I have a similar sorry tale and my package has been in the system for a month.
I particularly like that Heathrow International LC sent it to Heathrow International DC, who 10 days later sent it back to LC.
But I think LC takes first prize as after a further 3 days they sent it on to, wait for it, LC.

A month is well overdue, you need to contact the sender, or if the T&Cs allow make a claim from Royal Mail. Sometimes, though it is rare, a claim seems to sort out the problem. It is a long shot but worth a try.
