Hi, We are a small cycle shop that use Royal Mail a lot for smaller parcels and is generally really good and better than many couriers.
We have sent a parcel to Israel back on 22nd Sept and it is still showing as 'Item Leaving the UK' and has been for 14 days now, any idea why?

It's probably stuck in Israeli customs. Until Israeli customs release the item to the local equivalent of RM there, it'll not receive any scans.

I too have an item that seems to be stuck Langley. It supposedly left on 30th September to go to Spain. It contains contracts and if not delivered by Friday this week will cost me £27,500. What is my next step please?

Incident: Customs Delays
The Spanish Post Office have informed us that due to the implementation of a customs related IT system they are currently experiencing delays on any items subject to customs review. They are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible and in the meantime are continuing to process items via a non automated process. Delays may be experienced during this time.

I'm in the same situation. Very small parcel sent to Spain and vanished for a week after "leaving the UK". How long did yours take to arrive? Did you lose your £27,500?
