I sent a letter with the correct zip code, street name, building name, but NO number (the building number and the apartment number - just the recipient's name).
The street is only 65 meters long and I think the building could have 2 doors (although one of them is smaller).
I also didn't put the sender's address...
Do you think the postman will be kind enough to try to deliver the letter anyway? Or are there very strict guidelines that do not allow this type of effort?

If the regular postie is on the round and recognises the name then the chances are good it will be delivered.
However, if someone different is on that round then the chances of it being delivered, although not nil, is reduced.
