If Royal Mail feels they can do what they like it will be because they believe we are divided and rants like yours give them that idea.
RM don’t feel they can do what they like, they already are & have done, they won the vote 🗳

Sign of things to come ? you ain't seen nothing yet ! RM can do whatever they want now , they know CWU and the majority of its members are more than willing to take whatever they wish to thrust up them with just a whimper. No Balls , No self-pride , No £1400 and No Hope for you over the next few months !
What they "see" is hundreds of keyboard warriors on social media undermining their own union and "saying" they'll leave.

That's what managers are talking about. The question is what do you hope to achieve by these constant rants?

If I was cynical I would question whether some of them actually are managers because the only people who really gain anything from undermining a union are the employers, they like division because that's the real weak point not whether the members accept or reject a deal.

If Royal Mail feels they can do what they like it will be because they believe we are divided and rants like yours give them that idea.
Same keyboard warriors who all predicted a massive NO vote now a few want ihr or vr just leave.

Come on everyone the union has sold us out. How any union worth anything can agree to a reduction in sick pay and ill health is indefensible. Especially at a time with work loads being as they are require more folk to take sick. It's a total shambles. The strength in a union is to be prepared to not suffer fools and bring the whole lot down if necessary. That is obviously hard to take short term but without that in-built mentality the union is nothing. A bit like the current experience of supposed union representation. The union is over. I'm still in just as a little thorn to royal mail but ultimately its game over for fairness in the work place in all industries

When a company pleads poverty, and mentions to the media that we are losing x millions a day then the person in charge needs to be removed.

I think what's going to happen over the next couple of years is the business will become profitable once again. But with a sacrifice with VR's being on the cards again, reducing staffing levels, and bringing in new staff (part time) with crapper contracts.

We've all witnessed the amount of changes they have endorsed over the past six month's, who's to say they will do it all again in 2 years time. The union aren't finished, but they will be next time if we don't have a leader steering the helm in the proper direction.

Hopefully ,not many years to retirement,im doing as little as possible now it would be in their interests to get rid of us older one's who don't give a toss anymore. Anyone over 55 now are just working slower until their time is up,please ,please make us redundant this would be the best news ever .
I'm 39 and don't give a toss. I don't even give a toss if I get sacked now. Left the union, job hunting, who cares.
36 and been here 14 years now and feel exactly the same. I’m mortgaged up to my eyeballs with two kids but if they sack me tomorrow I think I would feel a sense of relief. I used to care about the bullying and intimidation from managers and always tried my best to complete, but the workload and pressure now is so unbearable I’ve completely given up. I now go in on time, take break and hand quarter of a delivery back routinely so I can finish on time. Feel like I’ve become a nuisance to management and probably have a target on my back but f**k it all the place is a complete shithole now anyway and will continue to get worse.
Also left the union, I won’t pay towards that bald twats obscene wages anymore.
:Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause only if they used that billion they had to make us all redundant now that would be a result, the company are definitely in trouble when they have a workforce who couldn't give a s**t whether they got sacked or not :chuckle :chuckle

One thing is for sure its gonna take something special to repair the division within this union, maybe even take a whole new leadership at the cwu although it might be a case of nobody wants to do it, time will tell i suppose.

A lot of bitterness from the No Vote Keyboard Pussies on this board. :no no
They can't accept the Silent Majority won the vote and the CWU delivered a workable and rewarding pay settlement under duress and crossfire.

No bitterness from this no voter I've accepted the result and what the consequences will be,the constant no and yes vote nonsense on here is getting beyond tiresome.

It is going to continue as the agreement will be blamed for everything that happens in this job going forward, whether it is responsible or not.
