Yup. I've got 14 sections on my shared van duty frame (over 2000 delivery points), and I'm not the only one in my office. I'll be interested to see how this is going to work for deliveries of this size.

I like how their example bag is practically empty, that just proves they have absolutely f**k all idea how much we deliver. It's a damn rarity I have a single bundle bag now (say 5 inches thick) let alone one that thin!

so if your a reserve who is all over the shop how would they know where the loops start and finishes ? , or does each loop come in there own individual tray ,and what about d2ds ? , and when your partner is on ips how do you prep 2 deliverys like now ? , oh well more indoor less outdoor ,

I found that funny too. The other day I was on a walk I don't know. Each loop had between 12 and 15 big bundles and a bag of parcels. Good luck merging 3/4 days of mail on those tiny white trays.

Massive loops them! The amount of missorts in my mech and the amount out of sequence would make this a right laugh. Id be bringing back a tray of missorts everyday.

If the mech is wrong then the nominated person in the DO responsible for updating the data on Route Planner needs to pull their finger out and get it updated. Sequencing and sort plans are written based on the data in Route Planner, if that data is wrong then the mech will be wrong.

With the extraction of 2C from Wave 2, I can see the 1C of Wave 2 soon being just sent out as manual. I had a really quick flick through a couple of Wave 2 batches I put through and frankly if the 2C were to be extracted it wouldn't be worth running them, even as walk sort

Weve been trying to sort ours for over a year, they arnt interested so we gave up,fittings are wrong, sequenced stuff is wrong

Seems these trials are all about one thing saving space and making office house more deliveries.

Apart from the stupidity, it's just cut indoors so we can hammer you with more work, you bone idle posties. Try getting parcels walk sorted (DPD can do it) and all the mail walk sorted rather than sequenced - in on time and just staying on the frame, only an idea folks. Conveyor belts, drones, robots, it's just a bloody letter for god's sake. Never known a company make SO many mistakes year after year.

In theory, I have no issue at all with this - given it will clearly take longer to prep, therefore more time indoors = less time outdoors = shorter delivery spans.

Of course, that logic won’t necessarily be taken by management but, you know, who are we to question their wisdom!

I’ve noticed a few people question what happens to D2D’s with this method and I think I know what the answer will be…

Deliver complete streets / loops across the week, regardless of whether they have mail or not!

All agency contracts cancelled next week heard a rumour large parcels coming back on us wouldnt surprise me if flexibility is mentioned very soon,its going to come thick and fast now it will be too much for the union to control with no chance of a strike for the foreseeable ,seen the managers crowding around the only rep yesterday,i would of stepped in but im not in the union anymore its every man for himself now.
