Every one of those ideas is f***ing stupid beyond belief. Going round the houses trying to reinvent the wheel when it only takes about 15 mins maximum to throw your sequenced mail in.
I’m sure the trials will be a roaring success though and we can all look forward to this disorganised stress inducing way of working in the near future.
At least Mark Baulch and some PEC members can stand around feeling important during the trial’s though before RM decide on which one they want.

Apparently the idea is saving at least half an hour putting the sequenced in the frames ( both walks) and saving further time tying it up. Ok then..

If they want to save us time then they have to start looking at packets. It doesn't take long to prep the mail now, most of our morning is spent sorting parcels, scanning them to your frames, prep on your frame and yorks then stickering them at end.

FFS! What a load of nonsense! It'll take twice as long fannying about prepping a round like that. What about the people that are reserves who don't actually know the duty that well? Another s**t idea, thought up by some fuckwit trying to impress their equally s**t bosses.

Its really quite extraordinary the bull s**t they come up with in their desperate attempts to make more £ or save more £.

The reality in my DO now is that the walks are ALL far too big, and i reckon most are either leaving loops or bringing back loops every single day. One of my jobs had a whole other frame added to it. And I used to cut off regularly before!

The whole business is run by jokers and some of the “managers” are literally a joke.

This has been trialed since at least 2015 ans has been a disaster everywhere it has been trialed.

It doesn’t save time and in fact as far as I know , every office that did it , binned it off rather quickly.

the frames actually take strain off your hand, i fear all this handling,juggling, holding mail and a plethora of small finnicy packets as quite stressful on the joints
