How can a postal service that's been a round this long have such a poor platform, service and tracking system?
I have an international buyer from Dubai who have not received his delivery in two weeks. RM shows the item was shipped, but there exist no tracking updates and contacting support is not even possible; the RM complaint form doesn't recognise RM's own tracking number: LO194508375GB

Each time these deliveries get messed up I am the one losing money since RM rarely even respond to lost mail complaints. The buyer is furious.
What is the status of this delivery? Why is tracking not provided all along the way?

Quick question, is it going to a PO Box address? AFAIK there's only PO Box addresses in the UAE, they don't deliver to physical addresses

No, the address is a physical street address but it's a business with a unit number.
I've sent to Dubai a handful of times over the years and they always got delivered. But this is the first time I am sending with RM.

Re: RM don't recognise their own tracking number
There won't be any tracking if it isn't moving. The one legitimate reason why that might happen is because the contents are classed as dangerous goods. Just to rule that out, what are the contents please?
The other obvious reason that the tracking stops is because the barcode label has fallen off the parcel. This is unfortunately quite common. This does not stop the item getting there, it just prevents the tracking from updating.
