Re: Vote No.
People who work in RM need to know there is no walking speed there is a 1 Minute preprate on the rm2000 frame but one minute not multiplied for 120 minutes this is why unions make a difference because of regulations that most of you all do not know!

Re: Vote No.
There won’t be any more room for negotiations, there’s no chance that will happen. The union messed up with their no strings attached mantra at the start of this dispute. RM at the start put on the table some very harsh terms which have ,not surprisingly been watered down as time has passed by. If a no vote goes through they will just put in as many harsh terms as they can legally get away with and you can forget about a pay rise or lump sum.

Re: Vote No.
I think of why we had to endure this s**t show but at the end of the day they gave £568 million in share dividends and 15 million in plus in management bonuses. Fact of the matter is just come in do your job and quote why all ways me take them to any court in the land and fuckem!SMS1969 wrote: ↑18 Jun 2023, 17:27There won’t be any more room for negotiations, there’s no chance that will happen. Re: Vote No.
No we shouldn't.Again you’re missing the point which is that we should be voting on what’s in front of us
That's just stupid and simplistic.
At some point you have to make a decision whether that's all there is on offer and whether you have any more leverage to achieve anything more no matter what is in front of you. You also have to weigh up the risks of that deal being pulled off the table.
That's pretty much page one in negotiations for beginners.
Most people get it. It's an adult thing.
Surely you've bought or sold a car before, put in an offer for a house, sold something on ebay...
Both the union and the business have helped you with this difficult concept, they've both pretty much said that's all there is.
Do you know differently? It seems the No voters think there is, I'm f****d if I know where they are getting this information from. I've asked them to share but they're keeping it to themselves for some reason.

Re: Vote No.
So you can’t answer then, or? What will happen? These changes will be brought in, perhaps sooner than March for the start time changes, pay rise and lump sum will be off the table, and Royal Mail will be free to bring in their original 3 hour change to shift patterns, as they proposed initially.smartin1982 wrote: ↑18 Jun 2023, 17:31
What do you think will happen?!
List us the facts.
For starters.

Re: Vote No.
Although we can only guess at the future we can educate that guess by looking at the past.
The behaviour of Royal Mail throughout the last 12 months and to be fair still going on right now would suggest that their plans will not be derailed or even slowed by a no vote, in fact it seemed at the most bitter parts of the dispute they were prepared to double down and up the ante.

Re: Vote No.
Did Dave and Andy manage to get past page 1 or did they get stuck on page 3?
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

I’ve also said to you before, you patronising little tit rifle, that whatever happens after a no is of no concern or importance to me. I have a conscience and a jot of pride, unlike yourself who seems to need to validate themselves by posting on a forum with a self imposed sense of superiority.
I just won’t sit back and be shafted and let those after me be shafted.
And obviously, genius, it goes without saying when voting on what’s in front of you, acknowledging the consequences of that vote is part of it.
It’s an adult thing to know that. You’re really not as bright as you like to think.
