t24 parcel special delivery on a bank holiday?
Hi, I had a t24 delivery that came today, they couldn't get to my post box because I live in an apartment block so it went undelivered, I didn't know that companies could pay for Sunday delivered with t24, will my delivery now be delivered on Tuesday or does the special sunday delivery mean that it could be delivered on bank holiday monday?

Some companies pay for deliveries on Sunday, within Royal Mail they are called LATs, and they try to deliver any early ones if they have time.
With the new system delivery should be reattempted on Tuesdays.

Are you not impresssed with our New Wonderful Parcel Delivery System nomail?
Our Bosses have been telling us for ages that everyone wants to order up to midnight and have their parcels delivered the next day! We've been telling them for ages to use some common sense. As Regular Posties we know our Customers disappear on Holidays, and Weekend Breaks, at this time of the year and aren't going to be hanging around to collect their parcels
As mentioned your parcel should be automatically redelivered on Tuesday, another wonderful idea from our bosses, which in my experience I've found normally works about 75% of the time so I suppose that's a WIN (don't worry about the other 25%)!

It might be an idea to make the apartment block accessible to delivery staff on Tuesday morning.

We used to have the codes to blocks of flats that we could accesss during a certain time period (say 0700-0900). We could then leave parcels in the Foyer if requested. It caused a few problems as the Deliveries kept getting later and we had to chase the occupiers to get their Access Slot moved later .... again!

I can’t believe the amount of Sunday T24s we receive addressed “c/o Post Office”. Many POs aren’t accessible on Sundays (except those located within Spar shops etc) so what is the point?
