Tracking: RG020954196UA
Have been through Royal Mail's official help to no use, refund/recompense aren't important, and I appreciate that tracking won't update now until a delivery attempt. So far as I know, it's an A4 sized envelope with nothing of value to anyone else in it.
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for what might be the hold up?

The tracking entries in the UK don't look like RM ones, which make me think it's either not yet been released by UK customs or hasn't physically reached the UK yet

I think it arrived at Customs and has been chosen to be inspected for some reason. The problem is RM have no control over this and they can only wait till it is released or returned. Normally I would suggest contacting the sender and getting them to chase the local post office, but they may be problematic given its coming fro Ukraine.

Thank you both, appreciate you sharing your knowledge of the system.
From the Ukrainian side, it's arrived in the UK and passed through the 'office of exchange' into the sorting centre, so I'm getting 'have you not got it yet?' messages. Good to be able to give at least a reasonable possible explanation.

Just an update on this. I was collecting something from the local DO and mentioned the missing letter to the postie there after (unsuccessfully) trying to chase it up with customs in case they'd just not sent a notice out. He checked on the system and it's actually been scanned through all the way to Manchester MC on the 4th but hasn't been scanned on from "Acceptance at Inward Mail Centre". So I'd guess it's sadly lost.
