Just look at recently sacked failed CEO's from other companies and you'll probably spot our next useless CEO in the lineup. That seems to be RMs CEO recruitment strategy if their past record is anything to go by!

Well this is what I predicted in January….

I don’t think much will be agreed until April.
That’s when we will get a 13/14% pay rise with quite a few changes imo.
CWU will claim victory but it will only be such a pay rise because we haven’t had one this year.
I doubt much will be back dated either.

Might even be that ST steps down around then so a new CEO can come in with a deal already made so he is starting from a clean slate and can start his slashing terms philosophy Without his workforce and the union being on his back straight away…

I still think the new CEO may offer something as a sweetener to get off on the right foot. Most likely the board will look for a Tony Blair type figure. Someone who is good with the PR side. Big grin etc….

The board will want a period of calm (before the next storm) so I doubt they will go for another hatchet man straight away. Personally I think the next changes will be targeting the USO and maybe incorporating the next pay deal around the reduced full time hours (35) which should have already happened….
