I was also on the call today and did not see it the way you did and have been to unit reps this morning and going to anther this afternoon and another different one tomorrow morning I think sometimes on here and social media you can get into a bubble.

The majority of our members do not go anywhere near social media in discussions over work.

Dave and Andy confirmed that all local reps were released to attend a face to face meeting where all their questions would be answered as the meeting was on scheduled for 30 to 40 minutes.

This issue with seasonal variations is strange and shows the mistrust in the business. The start of seasonal variations had to start at some stage and the union did not believe it should have start in June because we want to carry out a pilot to see if it works and also for it to work the uso and quality of service needs to be restored.

I don’t ever hear people on wallington duties complaining that they have to work an 37 hours over 5 weeks before they get their Wally week.

This belief that everyone balances their hours in a week is most not the case unless you don’t have longs and shorts or a shorter Saturday or unless you have a fixed rest day.

There’s two things different this time compared to past agreements being signed off

All the strike days and social media

Social media has been there for past disputes but not coupled with all the action and strikes have been taken before an agreement but without social media being as big a beast

People are more engaged than ever before

Crying wolf doesn't mean there aren't any wolves. How much of a hand did the 'managed decline' have in leading us to the apocalyptic mess we find ourselves in now?

Everyone I've spoken to at my office has, without prompting, expressed an intention to vote against the proposal. Yes, most people are not on this site, so I think those conversations are much more representative of the mood of members.
