Mate Rhetoric is what both sides are full of. It’s literally just a fancy word for persuading people and is usually just Hyperbole (exaggeration).
I don’t like the smug attitude some people are getting on this website talking down to people. People at rm are from diverse backgrounds and it’s time people grew up.

Why do you need me to point out anything you said that's not true? We agree that changes are coming in. From there what we believe to be the right course of action is neither true nor false it is opinion.
The rhetoric you used was that of Aristotle's ethos, mentioning you were a soldier to build your credibility in an argument. As I said it has the opposite effect.

I know a lot of people are struggling financially but I just find it sad.
It is a sinking ship. A lot of people just want the lump sum before going. We have had 4 leave this week already, mainly new starters admittedly, but it is a done deal at this point.

Same here, it's becoming tedious, I end up scrolling through pages of quoted comments of certain people's pissing contests without becoming any wiser.
Thing is this is being kicked back our way one way or another you will get a vote but read the ballot paper before just putting an X in the box!

A job is important as without it, you could loose an awful lot. If you are the main/only earner then the responsibility is on you.
I do agree with you that a lot of people cannot take a joke or try to look for fault.
