Why is it a pathetic comment?hawkeye622 wrote: ↑07 Apr 2023, 17:08What a pathetic comment! I never broke a strike but don't certainly dont hold any resentment for the guys & girls that did. Get a life!!!
He's perfectly entitled to his own opinion.
I dare say that there are very many who feel the same.
You obviously disagree & you feel it's your right to diss him?
At least he has the courage to speak up!
How would you feel if 'the shoe was on the other foot'?

Re: Summary of the proposed agreement
There was a 3.5% and a £500 for successful Revision that would have been payable from April 2022 without the CWU... And that probably would have been for 1 year and if I recall, another 1.5% for 2023/2024.
The CWU have only moved Royal Mail a little bit, save for securing Allowances (for a few) and what else?
Thanks to the CWU for nothing!

For a start membership of a trade union is not compulsory. Thatcher ended the principle of a closed shop years ago.
What is being suggested is indirect discrimination treating one employee less favorable than another. So yes a rather erroneous comment from the OP with a lack of foresight as contrary to law. A trade Union has no powers over the law that will not even recognize membership

Just look at those "flexibility", "indoor trials" and "performance management" sections. As well as "new attendance stadards".
Sinister as f***. Unless they clarify what they mean, we just cannot accept this.

Also no one's mentioned that sick pay has basically been gutted.
The first period of sickness you'll get full sick pay.
But any other instance of sickness you'll receive no money for the first 3 days of any sickness in the next 12 months.
So basically you won't get paid for any short term sickness.

Not to mention the new contracts levelling up more like down ie any postman/woman who votes for this is enesscne voting for themselves to be on a minimum wage in 5 years! Think on while you think life is difficult now see the future and open your own eyes!

Notice I said 'should', not 'will' or 'can', perhaps basic reading comprehension isn't a strong point in FilthyLens repertoire of habitual lies and misinformation.

When will this happen?
The parasites as you call them are not your colleagues, they are the Central Banks, Big Corporations and the ruling classes who do their bidding.
Too many people fall for the divide and conquer routine, thereby letting the perpetrators fleece us whilst going unnoticed.

Too many willing to let others bear the brunt as they reap the benefits while misguided people defend them.

It’s been happening in the private sector for years. Will stop the piss takers, won’t help the genuine cases.Ianroyalmail wrote: ↑07 Apr 2023, 18:41Also no one's mentioned that sick pay has basically been gutted.
