I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I’d take that deal? Probably option B on the pay deal but otherwise I’m happy with that.

Oh I am glad you're happy. You've supported the union and your colleagues very well during this dispute. You thoroughly deserve what you get.FilthyBloke wrote: ↑07 Apr 2023, 12:13I’d take that deal? Probably option B on the pay deal but otherwise I’m happy with that.

Why would you take option B ? the carrot in front of the donkey (£1500)FilthyBloke wrote: ↑07 Apr 2023, 12:20Thanks.timbo1234 wrote: ↑07 Apr 2023, 12:18Oh I am glad you're happy. Option A is the better out of the 2 (6% now) as no one know whats around 2024 and RM might reneg on the deal.
Either way there are some good parts to this deal and bad ones which was always going to be the way.

Yep. The carrot. The 1500 lump sum will be a lot more useful than the extra few quid a week.N|M wrote: ↑07 Apr 2023, 12:38Why would you take option B ? the carrot in front of the donkey (£1500)FilthyBloke wrote: ↑07 Apr 2023, 12:20Thanks.timbo1234 wrote: ↑07 Apr 2023, 12:18Oh I am glad you're happy. While i don't agree that's the best option you are entitled to your own opinion on what is best for you.FilthyBloke wrote: ↑07 Apr 2023, 12:40Yep. The carrot. On a side note maybe they should offer both options to everyone and they pick whats best for them ?

Re: Summary of the proposed agreement
Could they do that? I think the first option works out better by about £500 quid in the long run?N|M wrote: ↑07 Apr 2023, 12:46While i don't agree that's the best option you are entitled to your own opinion on what is best for you.FilthyBloke wrote: ↑07 Apr 2023, 12:40Yep. Not sure how having both options would be viable with future pay increases though?

Full backdated and I'd slightly think about it. If your reading this ST many people are the same, it's all about the backpay
