I read someone would be happy with 5% pay rise!!! No no no. It’s a two year thing now so we want around 15%, half of that backdated to last April. As for unworkable revisions, that’s an individual choice if you want to go flat out and cause possible Ill health. The vast majority will take a leisurely stroll and bring loads back. The morale at our place has never been better.
Where do you suggest the money for a 15% pay rise comes from?
Royal Mail. Don’t forget it’s two years now. They can afford it, don’t worry about that.

Would be disappointed if we don't get 10 percent based on a 2 year deal on top of the 2 we got last year but I'm not holding my breath as for terms and cons the only things left to fight for are later starts ,annualised hours and better vr terms the rest seems to have already started :arrrghhh

Greed!!……at the end of the day the rich wanna be richer regardless of who they walk over (us) and regardless of how it affects people’s health. When you look around our world now, what a sad place to live in!
Everything is relative. You will be deemed rich to some homeless person and by vitue of the fact you want a pay rise, you want to be richer.

Funny how we always have to reach the end of the "crunch week" for an update. Next week will be even crunchier

By setting up crunch weeks, in which nothing happens and unachievable deadlines to reach an agreement, it destroys peoples spirit, which is what RM have always set out to do during this dispute

Surely if inflation keeps climbing at the rate it is and talks go on forever eventually we'll have to pay RM for the honour of working there ?

Oh, you’ve seen the finances then? Thanks for reassuring me. You should probably let the CWU negotiators know what you are seeing and they aren’t.

could refer to snacks at hand - Double Deckers, Crunchy bars for sugar addicts, carrot with humous dips for the more health aware.

Nothing happens??????? Come on now!!! ..... points are raised and noted, objections are raised, understandings are reached and somebody is kept gainfully employed making all that tea.

Yes they need something to chew on and it won't be any proposals, but rather those excellent crunchy peanut biscuits from tesco that I would highly recommend

Updated on the CWU Facebook page

Negotiations with Royal Mail Group continue. We are putting together plans to update our senior officials, branches and members tomorrow.

What is happening in the workplace is completely unacceptable and we are in a very serious situation. Once we advertise the sessions we will need you all online.

Me neither, it will be the same old BS………”talks continue into next week”, “we’re at a serious stage in negotiations”…….”we must stand together, support your union”……..blah, blah, blah……..

Why do they update on a Friday night. People want to start the weekends and relax
