I'd give it 6 months tops before the oversize go back to the walks
There is no suggestion that they are going back to the walks.

Given the end of that 6 months would land right before peak… I expect you’re right!SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑06 Mar 2023, 19:39I'd give it 6 months tops before the oversize go back to the walks

Sounds like your managers still had some freedom to manage locally to their requirements - like ours had and we’re somehow getting a delivery office to function well despite having 70 odd vacancies.theotherone wrote: ↑06 Mar 2023, 19:56The things is DPR are nothing new. They were in the Original blueprints for the last failed revisions.
So ours in came 14 months ago they lasted 3 weeks.
Not enough staff to actually do the DPR's so were lapsed on a Monday,Tues and Sat in 'lighter months'
If not you could claim 1 and a half hours OT to do them with your duty.
Sometimes if it was in heavy periods a Saturday could be job and knock if you took them.
But this latest revision has clearly been forced through, with no real rhyme, reason or basic logic behind it - even our direct managers know it’s a farce.

We used to have DPR but that was axed a month or so back, oversize gone to walks now resulting in senior posties either quitting or being left a spare, joke to be honest.
We have just had a further revision forced in last Monday resulting in walks having an extra 45mins or so added for the lapsed/collapsed walks whatever you want to call it making it an absolute farce, total joke now.
Quiet quitting is a great term, which I am now getting to know well seeing as we cut off literally a full walk a day now

Revision still seems to be going through in our MC, increased amount of VR’s on all shifts. Majority of staff now supernumerary.. 40 year senior staff asking the manager if they carry in with a Monday to Friday night shift being told those hours no longer exist.
They are then forced to pick 3 x 12hr shifts, 2 weeks later staff with 3 years service are being offered plum Mon - Fri nights. How does that happen when none are available

Our revision is coming in soon. My duty finishes 30mins from the office, the manager is trying to give me 30mins extra as he say's the 30mins journey time back to the office is not part of my duty and the van should be returned in my own time.
I'm not happy about it as I thought all return times were included in the duty time.
Can anyone advise.

Yet again your manager is wrong and is trying it on. Travel time is included in the duty.foxtrot223 wrote: ↑07 Mar 2023, 15:29Our revision is coming in soon. You may wanna have your union rep with you, just in case. Or at least do it on a day when your union rep is in.foxtrot223 wrote: ↑07 Mar 2023, 15:43Thank you, I thought it was but wasn't sure.

RM are completely ignoring the agreement to suspend revisions and are steaming ahead with them.
