Thanks for clarifying that. Another DO wouldnt take our xmas stamps as payment for a customs charge.

It probably is that these people dont know stamps are treated as cash (except you dont get change). Could be an honest mistake or "upselling" their stamps.

I never worked in Revenue Protection. But I was taught in training that you round down all the ha’pennies.

we used to but then it was deemed that the ha`pennies were no longer valid
