It got to HWDC on 30 Dec which is just before the hacker got into the Royal Mails system, at the moment they can't send anything abroad but they are trying their hardest to solve the problem.

Though for full disclosure I think yours made it through to Customs so the delay may be in UK customs or your local customs.

Thats what made me think it may have been caught up in the problems caused by the hack, but before it became public. Thats only a guess though as we can't comment in an official way because we are not an official Royal Mail site.

So due to the hack it won't arrive or its just severe delays?

Ransomware became active on the morning of Tuesday 10 January
Gets scanned in the first time when it is accepted in the system
Gets scanned the second time when ready to leave

The delays are massive at HWDC, long before the attack. The strikes crippled international mail far more than domestic.

Unfortunately, there is no official way to contact Langley except through Royal Mail call centre 0345 774 0740

If you are on twitter then you could try @royalmailhelp.

Did you send this item via the Post Office? If so, Royal Mail cannot currently dispatch anything sent via the Post Office internationally, even those posted before the cyber attack.

I have just checked the UPU tracking system and all data on this package has been wiped. It hasn't left the UK.

This item was affected by the strikes and then the cyber attack. This item is unlikely to be going anywhere anytime soon.

I called them. She told me the package is moving very slow and is currently in Glasgow and she advised me to make a claim form for delayed or lost items.

But I am not able to fill the form as I am the international recipient.

But wow its still in Glasgow
