I posted my SD parcel on the 10th and there were no updates until yesterday when it was scanned at the mail centre. As of now no further progress.
No idea as to when it will be delivered.

OP... My tracked 24 from the 2nd was sent from Birmingham MC to Heathrow International LC on the 7th and has been stuck there ever since. It should have gone to Chelmsford MC instead.
I'm afraid the wait will be very long indeed now if your SD is there.
I wrote to Caleb Carter, the RM chairman (email address was found on Reddit), and he replied very quickly I have to say and he seemed to agree that my item was sent to Heathrow by mistake.
He said he would make some enquiries and get back to me ASAP, when he knows something.
Of course I know it's impossible to locate a single item in a mail centre so his help is not gonna amount to much (he said it himself that due to the sheer amount of mail it's impossible to track down an item) but at least I made them aware of my shipment! Might lead to my tracked 24 finally leaving that black hole called Heathrow International LC

Even during the strikes managers are meant to prioritise Special Deliveries - so there is a chance it will still be delivered in time for Christmas.

I think Bristol to Manchester or Crewe would have been a better route than sending it to Heathrow ?
But Edward is right, SPD are all over the place, loads came through this morning all mixed in with the normal bulk or parcels.
