Hi,

I'm hoping this is the right place, if not please delete.

Two weeks ago I posted a parcel to Italy, it hasn't arrived and the last tracking was when it left the UK.

Is this normal for it to take so long, could it be stuck in customs in Italy or do I assume it's lost.

It's so frustrating as the cost to replace the item is £1100.

This seems similar to my situation. Posted from the UK on 12 Nov, received at LANGLEY HWDC on 13 Nov, and no updates since. Traveling to the USA. The USPS says they haven't received the package and I should check with the seller. I just have no idea if it has actually left the UK or not. Normally there is a different kind of update in tracking when a package has departed. So, I think there are delays. Good luck.

Looking into the International updates its looks like there are still delays caused by strikes and delays at customs. search.php?keywords=italy&t=103403&sf=msgonly

Italy is also well known for being very strict on the paperwork and Prohibited and Restricted items list. Hopefully whatever you sent is just delayed and not on either of those 2 lists.

Thankfully my tracking updated yesterday and my item is now with Italian customs. I was convinced it was lost as it's over 2 weeks since I posted it.

Hi..I'm so glad your parcel has made it..I'm having this problem now too...my last update for tracking was the 24th Nov stating it had left originating country and is enroute to Canada but no updates since..I take it ..that its probably still stuck in UK.

I Manpreet Kaur sent a parcel from UK to INDIA on dated 08-nov-2022 with ref number: LB689356494GB. It was last update on 10-nov-2022 as item leaving the UK. But it's time is now over one month to posted and not arrived yet in destination country. It seems to be stuck in Indian customs or lost. I don't know where is it now. I think it is lost and how I can cover my parcel worth around £115. That is birthday gift for my friend which is very mean to me. Kindly update the status of parcel and deliver as soon as possible.

We are not an official site, so we can't do that. We can only advise you on what you may be happening.

If it hasn't arrived by the 21st, you can make a claim from Royal Mail using a P58international form or via their website. You will be able to claim the full amount if you added the extra cover for loss or damage.

But it already one and half month over to posted. Why royal mail took huge time to deliver a parcel. Website clearly said delivery time 5-7 working days. I took this service very first time to deliver my parcel. But this is very worst service. I will not use this service in Future.

If the parcel is in Indian customs which I assume is the case, neither Royal Mail or India Post have access to it and its out of their control.

Today is 29th but still same updation as item leaving the UK. Is there anyone know where is it? If it is stuck in Indian customs then please let me know which customs have my parcel in India. I will contact them directly. Anybody respond
