Even if the parcel was treated as standard mail it should have been delivered by now. We'll see on Monday.

Monday has come and still no change. I've filed a claim online - Royal Mail has 30 days to reply.

The thing is what does 'eventually' mean? Ten days is a lot, even allowing for the strike and backlogs, especially given that this is an SD item.
Now the latest update is "Item Despatched to Royal Mail site". It doesn't say which site, but we shall see tomorrow. It should be Leicester because the receiver is in Leicester!
